Because as an operator you can work in multiple departments, your work stays varied and you get the chance to develop yourself in different processes.
You work in a 3 or 4 shift system. With 3 shifts you have the weekend off, and with 4 shifts you only work on Saturday. Work may take place on public holidays, which provides extra variety and allowances. Breaks are flexible and the short breaks you take are paid.
