Job description
As a warehouse operative in Duiven, you make sure everything in the warehouse runs smoothly. You work together with colleagues who like to get things done and who, just like you, enjoy keeping up the pace. In this role as a warehouse operative, you are responsible for sorting parcels, scanning, and packing and unpacking boxes. You make sure parcels follow the right route and end up in the right place, so everything can move on to the next step on time.

You work in shifts from 14:30 to 23:00 and from 23:00 to 07:00. In the first months, you will be on the conveyor belt every day. There you pay close attention, so each parcel ends up on the correct conveyor belt or is placed in the right van. As a warehouse operative, you stay actively busy and you see the results of your work immediately. Even when it is busy, you keep an overview and continue working neatly, so the flow of parcels keeps moving.

To help you get started properly, you begin with practical on-site training: Smart Handling. This is our own onboarding, where you quickly get familiar with the processes, safety and teamwork within the warehouse. This way, you know exactly what is expected of you and you can quickly start working independently as a warehouse operative.

After your training period, we will look together at which process within the warehouse suits you best. There are plenty of growth opportunities, for example towards forklift driver or even a supervisory role. Despite the size of the organisation, we find personal attention important and we make sure you feel at home in a great team.

What do we offer?

• A salary of €2.798 per month excluding shift allowances, based on full-time employment.
• You will receive an end-of-year bonus of approximately €90 per month (based on full-time employment), giving you an extra financial reward each month.
•  For work between 21:00 and 00:00 you receive a 20% allowance, and for work between 00:00 and 06:00 you receive a 30% allowance, so late hours are rewarded extra.
•  You receive 8% holiday pay and extra holiday days that increase with your age, so you build up more time off.
• You receive a travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre, so your commute is reimbursed.

• National public holidays are days off and you still get paid, giving you extra rest and security.

What do we ask?

• You speak Dutch or English, for contact on the work floor and to follow instructions.
• After a successful tour, you will complete the online Awareness Dangerous Goods course at our expense and we will apply for your Certificate of Conduct (VOG).
